Materials:

Approximately 280 yards chunky weight yarn

US size 10.5 needles

Cable needle

Notes:

C8B: Slip next 4 sts to cable needle and hold to back of work; [k1, p1] twice, [k1, p1] twice from cable needle.

Instructions:

CO 34 sts and work the cable pattern as follows until desired length is reached.

Rows 1-5: Sl 1, *K1, P1. Repeat from * to last st, P1

Row 6: Sl 1, C8B, [K1, P1] 4 times, C8B, [K1, P1] 4 times, P1

Rows 7-11: Sl 1, *K1, P1. Repeat from * to last st, P1

Row 12: Sl1, [K1, P1] 4 times, C8B, [K1, P1] 4 times, C8B, P1

Bind off, block, and weave ends.
